Role Overview:

As a Volunteer Marketing/Promotion Coordinator, you will support the promotion of the Lingdale Tavern Community Hub, Bar/Restaurant & Coffee Shop and its monthly charity events. These events aim to raise funds to support local initiatives while providing an exciting evening of entertainment, food, and community involvement. Your role will involve developing marketing strategies, managing social media accounts, and creating promotional materials to engage the community and attract attendees.

Key Responsibilities:

– Create and execute marketing campaigns to promote monthly charity events and the overall mission of the Lingdale Tavern Community Hub.

– Manage social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms, to raise awareness and drive ticket sales.

– Design and distribute promotional materials, such as flyers, posters, and online content, to increase event visibility.

– Collaborate with the volunteer event/entertainment coordinators to ensure all promotional efforts align with the entertainment and event concept.

– Maintain a strong relationship with local businesses and media outlets to enhance event promotion and secure additional exposure.

– Track and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights to improve future promotional efforts.

– Engage with the community through online and offline channels to build awareness of the charity’s mission and events.

Skills and Qualifications:

– Passion for marketing and community engagement.

– Strong written and verbal communication skills.

– Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tools.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

– Creativity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

– Basic graphic design skills or a willingness to learn are a plus, but not required.
